Use PostDaily in Claude Code
Install PostDaily's Claude Code plugin, sign in with /mcp, and let Claude Code turn a release into scheduled posts, with a check before anything publishes.
PostDaily's plugin for Claude Code adds the server plus three skills: one for writing and scheduling posts, one for uploading files from your computer, and one for turning a release into posts. It also asks you before anything publishes right away, deletes or cancels a post, or schedules a batch.
Install the plugin
- 1Add PostDaily's plugin marketplace
In your terminal, run
claude plugin marketplace add mehedihasan2810/postdaily-claude-plugin - 2Install the plugin
Run
claude plugin install postdaily@postdaily - 3Sign in
In Claude Code, run
/mcp, choose plugin:postdaily:postdaily and authenticate. PostDaily opens in your browser: choose what Claude Code can do and which workspaces it can use, then select Allow access.
Or add only the server
If you'd rather not install the plugin, run claude mcp add --transport http postdaily https://mcp.postdaily.app/mcp, then sign in from /mcp. You get the same tools without the skills or the extra check before publishing. PostDaily still requires a go-ahead before it publishes right away.
Things to ask
- "Read the changelog for the release I just tagged and schedule a post about it on Bluesky, Mastodon and X."
- "Upload
docs/demo.mp4and draft a TikTok and a YouTube Short with it." - "What's in my queue this week? Fill the empty slots with tips from our docs."
Disconnect
In PostDaily, open Settings → AI agents and select Disconnect next to Claude Code. It stops working on its next request.
