Data deletion
How to delete your PostDaily account and the personal data we hold — including data from connected accounts like Facebook — or request deletion by email.
1. Overview
PostDaily is operated by Galaxyway AI Ltd(registered in England and Wales, company number 15966090). This page explains how to delete the personal data we hold about you — including any data collected when you connect a social account such as Facebook — and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in.
You can delete your data yourself in a couple of clicks, or ask us to do it for you. Either way we act on verified requests and remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.
2. Delete your account yourself
The quickest way to remove your data is to delete your account from within PostDaily:
- Sign in to your account at postdaily.app.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- (Optional) Click Download my data first to export a copy of your data as a JSON file.
- Under Delete account, click Delete my account and confirm.
This permanently deletes the workspaces you own and their content — including your AI assistant conversations and their transcripts, in those workspaces and in any workspace you were a member of — and removes or anonymises your personal data within 30 days.
You can also delete a single assistant conversation at any time from the chat list in the composer's Assistant panel, which erases that conversation's transcript on its own.
3. Deleting data from a connected account (Facebook & others)
If you only want to remove a connected channel — for example a Facebook account you linked to PostDaily — rather than delete your whole account:
- In PostDaily, open your social account settings and disconnect the channel. This deletes the access tokens and account data we stored for it.
- You can also revoke PostDaily's access from the network's own settings — on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, then remove PostDaily.
4. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in — for example you only used Facebook to authorise PostDaily and no longer have access — email us at support@postdaily.app from the email address linked to your account, or include enough detail for us to identify it (such as the connected account or handle). We will verify your identity and delete your data within 30 days.
5. What we delete and what we keep
We delete or anonymise the personal data we hold about you — your account details, connected-account tokens, posts, drafts, schedules and media. We may retain limited records where the law requires it (for example billing and tax records), and anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.
