Cookie Policy
The cookies and similar technologies PostDaily uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
1. About cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. PostDaily also uses similar technologies — local storage, session storage and referral parameters — which do comparable jobs and are covered by the same rules. Between them they keep you signed in, remember preferences, help us understand how the Service is used, and remember when a Creator Partner referred you.
This policy explains what PostDaily, operated by Galaxyway AI Ltd, uses on our website and application (the "Service"). Read it alongside our Privacy Policy and, if you take part in the Program, the Creator Partner Program Terms.
2. Cookies and technologies we use
Everything we store falls into one of four groups. Two of them run without asking, because the law does not require permission for them; the other two are off until you turn them on.
- Essential — required to run the Service securely and do what you asked: keeping you signed in, protecting your account, blocking abuse of our forms, remembering a checkout in progress and recording your cookie choice itself. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remembers display choices you made yourself, such as light or dark mode. Stored only on your device.
- Analytics — first-party product analytics that help us see how the Service is used so we can improve it. Nothing analytics-related loads until you allow it. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell what we collect.
- Creator Partner referrals — remembers, for up to 60 days, that an approved Creator Partner referred you, so a later subscription can be credited to them. Off until you allow it. Section 3 explains it in full.
3. Creator Partner referral tracking
PostDaily runs a Creator Partner Program. Approved partners share links such as postdaily.app/r/PARTNERCODE. If you follow one and have allowed referral tracking, we store a first-party referral identifier so we can tell whether a later sign-up or subscription should be credited to that partner.
Only what attribution needs: the partner's code and when the referral happened, from which its 60-day expiry follows. It carries no sensitive personal information. We use it to remember that you arrived through a partner, to attribute a qualifying sign-up or subscription, to calculate commission, and to help detect referral fraud.
What the partner can seeNothing about you. Referral tracking gives a partner no access to your PostDaily account, and their dashboard shows aggregate figures — link clicks, sign-ups, paying customers, conversion rate and commission totals — never individual names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment or billing details, connected social accounts, posts or media.
If you say noWe do not store the 60-day identifier, so automatic attribution through a link will not be available once you leave that visit. You can use PostDaily exactly as normal. You can also still type a valid partner code at checkout, and that code will apply the discount and credit the partner — deliberately entering a code as part of a purchase is a different thing from agreeing to be tracked around the site, and we treat it that way.
A code at checkout winsIf you arrive through one partner's link and then enter a different partner's code at checkout, the code used for the purchase decides who is credited. Where no code is entered, the most recent valid referral link is the one that counts. The Creator Partner Program Terms set this out in full.
4. Third-party cookies and services
Payments — checkout happens on a page hosted by our payment provider, Polar. Any cookies it needs to process the transaction and prevent fraud are set on Polar's own domain under Polar's notices, not on postdaily.app.
Abuse protection — our public forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs inside a frame served by Cloudflare. Anything it stores belongs to that frame, not to postdaily.app.
Connected services — social networks and other services you choose to connect may process information under their own policies when you interact with them.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not let Creator Partners place their own tracking technologies on PostDaily. Referral attribution is run by us, on our own domain.
5. Managing your cookie choices
The first time you visit, a banner offers three options: Accept all, Reject non-essential and Manage preferences, which lets you allow analytics and referral tracking separately. Nothing optional is pre-selected, and refusing takes exactly as many clicks as accepting.
Changing your mind — use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or the account menu inside the app. Turning a category off stops us using it and deletes what it stored on your device. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done lawfully beforehand.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking essential ones may stop you signing in or keeping a secure session. Clearing your browser storage also removes any Creator Partner referral we had remembered.
6. How long cookies last
Session technologies end when you close your browser or the session finishes. Persistent ones last for a set period or until you delete them. The Creator Partner referral identifier lasts no more than 60 days unless removed sooner.
