Post automatically publishes the video or photo post to your profile at the scheduled time. Get a reminder sends it to your TikTok inbox as a draft instead: you open TikTok, pick the audience and publish within 24 hours. Only the caption carries over, so a reminder is the route when you want to add a sound from TikTok's library, which apps can't attach.

Privacy level is required and has no default, and it is checked again against your account's current options when the post publishes. Comments, Duet and Stitch stay off until you turn them on. Commercial content can be marked as promoting your own brand or as branded content, and branded content can't be set to "Only me", which is TikTok's rule. Photo carousels

When TikTok refuses a post

What TikTok's API can't do, and what we don't check
Sounds from TikTok's music library can't be added through the API, so use Get a reminder when a video needs one.
