Looking for a Publer alternative?
Publer is one of the best-value schedulers there is. It publishes to more networks than PostDaily, charges a few dollars per account, includes unlimited workspaces and has a free plan with three accounts. This page will not pretend otherwise. The reasons to look elsewhere are specific: client approval needs the Business plan and a Publer account for the client, and part of what Publer lists for Facebook runs on phone reminders rather than publishing.
Who should use which
Stay with Publer if you want the most networks for the least money, need LinkedIn, Google Business Profile or Telegram, like its free plan, or use its extras: link in bio, watermarks, recycling, the API. For most solo creators it is an excellent buy. PostDaily fits when clients need to approve without an account and you would rather not move to Business for it, and when you want what a tool says about Facebook to match what the API actually allows.
Where Publer is the better choice
Leading with this because it decides the question for a lot of people, and you should not have to dig for it.
It publishes to more networks
Publer publishes to LinkedIn, Google Business Profile and Telegram, which PostDaily does not yet, as well as Bluesky and Mastodon.
It is very cheap per account
Publer's Professional plan starts at $5 a month for one account, and every tenth account is free, so ten accounts come to $36 a month, or $28.80 billed yearly. An extra team member is $2 a month. For a solo creator, that is hard to beat.
Its free plan is bigger than ours
Publer's free plan covers three accounts (not X) with 10 scheduled posts each. PostDaily's free plan is one channel and five scheduled posts a month.
Extras we don't have
Link in bio on every plan, photo and video watermarks, post recycling, unlimited workspaces, an API and MCP server on Business, bulk imports of up to 500 posts, and a large set of free tools. PostDaily's CSV import takes 100 rows per file and it has none of the rest.
Where PostDaily is the better fit
Client approval without an account, below the top plan
Publer's approval workflows are on its Business plan, and a client reviews as a member added to your workspace. PostDaily's review link comes with Pro: the client opens it in a browser and approves or leaves feedback, with no account to create.
Facebook, described the way the API works
Publer's plans page lists Facebook Profiles, Pages, Locations and Groups. Its own help centre explains that Groups and personal profiles are posted through push notifications that you then publish yourself, because Meta discontinued the Groups API. PostDaily publishes to Pages and says plainly that no outside app can post to a Group, so you know before you plan around it.
One plan price
Publer prices each account and each extra member, so the bill moves every time either changes; approvals mean Business, at $63 a month for ten accounts before members. PostDaily plans include a channel allowance, seats and approvals at one plan price.
Built around publishing that recovers
Each channel has its own weekly posting grid and the queue fills from it. When a network errors, PostDaily retries what is worth retrying, shows the network's own message for what is not, and holds a disconnected channel's posts until you reconnect.

Common questions
- Can Publer post to Facebook Groups automatically?
- No. Publer's help centre says that since Meta discontinued the Groups API, posts to Groups go out as push notifications that you publish yourself, and personal profiles work the same way. No outside tool can auto-publish to a Group; PostDaily publishes to Pages only and says so.
- Is PostDaily cheaper than Publer?
